This event *sob* has left me scarred on the inside. I'll never buy a plastic gun again. *rocks back and forth*

they all share the same mag right? Looking at the accessories page for each of those guns, it looks like they do. Also does anyone know where I can get a M12 holster or a knock off of that holster for cheap? cheaperthandirt.com/MIL2131-55223-1195.html

It is NBB (which is better) Not necessarily. NBBs do use less gas because all the gas they put out directly goes into the propulsion of the BB and don't waste any gas on moving the slide. On the down side, NBBs tend to have fewer upgrades / accessories available, tend to be constructed of plastic, not metal, and are seriously lacking in the realism department.

I think we should all put the pistol idea on hold in the first place. For one thing, some people on here don't even have a primary. Others, like myself and my brother, are a little beyond that, but we still have other more pressing needs, like getting together a load bearing rig. Me and Honky have been considering and discussing MOLLE gear for a while, and I think only after we all have the essentials can we start thinking about extras like a side arm.

Sounds good to me besides the team members don't need to get all of the same weapons right away but when it comes time to replace we all know what we should get. I mean not all of us are made out of money(rarely is anyone in this hobby/sport.). I can make due with the KJW pistol I have right now once I actually have gas for it and if my WE 1911 ever gets fixed I'll let someone use either one if they really need a back up.

I like the idea of a universal side arm...but I personaly like individuality...and it is the sidearm that usually reflects a soldier. I carry a WE-Tech M1911 GBB with 2 mags...I like the M9's and wanted to get an HFC, but the .45 came out and changed my mind.
I love history...and the 1911 is one of the symbols reconized throughout history...since it's creation in WWI to the battlefield of today.
On a real weapon basis...I'd rather have a .45 than 9mm...(Because I don't need 3 rounds to drop someone)
I say just let everyone do their own thing. Like I said...it's a soldier's escape to being unique. Most everyone carries the same rifles, so mags are interchangable...and in the field I have hardly ever had to draw my sidearm...if I can't reload my rifle fast enough...and I also use it for cutting corners and rooms.
If you have to resort to your sidarm for a serius reason...you are SOL

On a real weapon basis...I'd rather have a .45 than 9mm...(Because I don't need 3 rounds to drop someone) That is why God invented the failure drill But as they say, shot placement is 10 times more important than caliber. Plus, with 9mm, you get less recoil, meaning you can line up your shot and put another round out more quickly. That is why I prefer 9mm to .45, but to each their own. Plus, 9mm is SOOO much cheaper
