I have no idea where you guys even play. Where are your closest fields to Lakewood (northern cleveland).

d*mn, that's 44 miles away from me... You don't play anywhere else? Or is there anyone that lives closer to me?

We just moved to this site because our team mate Matt got a guy who own a buttload of land to let us used part of it due the fact the field we did play on in Berea is in no shape to be used anymore.

Travelling is a BIG part of airsoft. For 08th practices, I drive out to Boardman (near Youngstown). That's about 80 miles

Maybe this is just me but i really dont see moving the field we play on to Lodi being a good move for BEAST, let me tell you why. Yes the field BEAST used to practice on is ont nice by any stretch of the imagination but moving the field to Lodi is only going to hurt our team in my opinion. Yes the field down there is probably much nicer i just dont see most of our current team members driving as far as Lodi to practice. Obviuosly i havent met most of them yet but from the way Dave and I have been talking it doesnt sound like moat of the guys on our team are even going to be able to get to Lodi reliably. For some of us that have our own cars it would not be a problem (myself included in that statement) but until we see a few more serious players join beast i believe we should keep the field up here and just make the best of what we have becuase it is much more accessable to the team as a whole.

Incoherent maybe, on to something, definently. I am far away from everything seeing as I litterally live less then a mile from lake Eerie, but does anyone even know of a field or something I can use that is close to me? Maybe we can all find a more sutable location...

As Honky was saying, the field issue is a big one. Output is right though, if you're not willing to travel, you can't play airsoft. BEAST is still in a formative stage now though, and we have people with different levels of ability, skill, dedication and mobility. It actually might be best if we have multiple fields to practice on, that way everybody does get a chance to practice, instead of making people sit out because they can't get to the field yet. These people will up and leave BEAST because they want to be involved, but need something closer by. I think we should give the old field another chance. Wait until the weather is better, and I think it should dry up at least enough to allow us a few skirmishes and practices. And if we can find another one, even better! As long as we have multiple locations, and practice multiple times, we should be able to integrate more of our recruits, and then be able to see who has the greater levels of committment.

I have tried, but I just cannot get a place to play. I am in the works of contacting people who play in lakewood through my brother. Hopefully I am on to something, though I'm not sure if I could get people to come up here. Maybe they play somewhere in the middle.

I dont think anyone here asked you to go out and find a new field for us right now. The only thing i was asking is that you stay open to other options.

As Vasili will tell you, I actually live on Lake Erie, and I have no problem getting around.
Multiple fields sound pretty good though. Not only would it be easier for our less-mobile players, but it would allow us to play on different terrain? Plus, we could be more varied in the teams we play.

Well, I live in Avon Lake, so not exactly next to you, but pretty close. And I have yet to actually play airsoft, so right now, just some target practice in my back yard (Much to the chagrin to of my fiance)
